Commonwealth Games Parade at OPS

Kia Orana! Happy Cook Island language week to all. Today at Otahuhu Primary we had our commonwealth games parade. Since our class had South Africa as our country of focus we were dressed up in our green, blue and reds. Hope you all are enjoying the Commonwealth games!

ITS TIME FOR AFRICA!!! ….WELL SOUTH AFRICA!

Sawubona all! Since the Commonwealth Games are about to start tomorrow, Otahuhu Primary will be hosting a parade to showcase all the different countries participating in the Commonwealth games. The parade will take place next week on Tuesday and each class is given a different country as a country of focus and representation in the parade. Room 6’s allocated country is the beautiful and luscious country of SOUTH AFRICA!! so Sawubona (hello in Zulu) to you all! Throughout the Commonwealth games Room 6 will be researching about the country of South Africa and educating ourselves with the people and culture of South Africa. So stay tuned for more!
